Description: The exclusive patented HygieniKit, compatible with any electric Ameda breast pump, creates one of the most effective milk collection systems available today. It helps mothers provide the purest milk possible to their babies. The kit's unique silicone diaphragm acts as a barrier, separating the user from the suction source. This helps ensure milk purity by preventing contaminants from coming in contact with collected breast milk, and prevents milk back-up so tubing and pump require little to no maintenance. The HygieniKit offers mothers the choice of single or dual pumping. It also easily converts to manual pumping with the One-Hand Breast Pump.
In addition, this kit includes two Flexishield Areola Stimulators. The Ameda Flexishield Areola Stimulator is a comfortable, flexible insert that fits any Ameda breast shield to provide increased stimulation to the areola. It mimics the feel of a baby's mouth, and helps stimulate the let-down reflex. The Flexishield can be helpful for mothers with engorgement, allowing for a softer more flexible surface to be in contact with the breast. It also reduces shield size for maximum effectiveness with smaller breasts.
